Are there people here from other planets?

Of course. They look like us, dress like us, but drive like people who have only a tenuous connection to Earth.

They don't signal. Have no concept of traffic around them. Have never heard “slower traffic keep right” or “left lane for passing only.”

You have seen these space people on the freeway, driving along in oblivion, inside their own little barrier bubble, sometimes with a turn signal flashing away endlessly. Last night on the drive back from Austin, traffic was stacked and stacked behind a space alien in the fast lane. He was so self centered, Saddam could have set off a weapon of mass destruction in New Braunfels and he wouldn't have noticed the nuclear flash.

My theory is that when these spaced-out people get old, they are the ones who fall for the pigeon drop, phony bank examiner, and fake lottery tickets. They likely have never heard of con games: they don't know anything that's going on, and apparently never find out what almost everyone else already knows.

Space aliens. Explains a lot, doesn't it.
