Mimi Ware always had a smile, a friendly word, and graciousness.

When the people who work here at KTSA, and our spouses, got together after work, I liked to sit by her. Down to earth. Knew real from smoke in this radio business. Everyone I know appreciated and respected her.

People were happy to be around Mimi.

One of her sons, Trey, was reminiscing with me about his mom always having a spark of fun. Yesterday the family had smiled at an old photo of Mimi's baptism day: she had showed up in a snorkel and facemask.

The Wares are a Christian family and believe that Mom and the Moot and Grandma has been called to a better place... where that terrible illness that stole her breath, does not exist.

So many of you have been so supportive of our Ware family. They appreciate it deeply. If you wish to write, their address is KTSA, 4050 Eisenhauer, San Antonio 78218. We lost a real good one this time, my friends.
