(Psst! It’s Saudi Arabia)

Fifteen of the 9-11 hijackers were Saudi nationals.

On Friday, former CIA operative Robert Baer told me, “Over the past decade, Saudi Arabia has transferred half-a-billion dollars to al Qaeda, and at least $100-million to the Taliban.”

Our own Treasury Department's general counsel [David Aufhauser] has told the Senate, “Saudi Arabia is the ‘epicenter’ of funding for terrorism in general, and al Qaeda in particular.”

Last week, a top Senate *Republican said it is “inexcusable” that not even congress can get “details about Saudi organizations and individuals that have been investigated as possible terrorism financiers.” The left hand of our government is not telling the right hand what’s going on, and it looks like a coverup on behalf of the Saudis.

The demonization of Saddam Hussein aside, it is Saudi Arabia that Uncle Sam is gonna have to deal with on the global terrorism problem, and we’d best get on it right away.
