Raid the Housing Authority

The Housing Authority kicks out its head honcho because of her screwups grandé, then turns around and gives her a $60-thousand settlement!

Don't that just beat all, as they say.

On top of everything else, the Bexar County Housing Authority board is making it as difficult as possible for its bosses — the County Judge and Commissioners — to find out everything that's going on.

If I weren't such a model of restraint and decorum my own self, I'd call it a disgustingly out of touch, out-of-control, boondoggling bureaucracy.

In the spirit of rodeo, I might like to see the County Commissioners saddle up and ride over there and raid the place. Throw out the whole top layer of bureaucrats. Crank off that raging firehose of tax money shooting out the windows.

Fire 'em all, let the attorneys sort it out later. The County Housing Authority could use a house-cleaning.
