Mighty Democrat Thunder

Yesterday the two main guys running for the Democrat presidential nomination were funny. Unfortunately, they were not trying to be.

John Edwards was best. He almost made Dan Quayle sound kind of Einsteinian. Edwards actually said, "At some point, I've got to start getting more delegates or I'm not going to be the nominee."

Duh. The man has a steel-strong grip on the facts.

This is the part of the campaign where voters are supposed to be impressed with mighty Democrat thunder, but what's coming out is only a peep.

John Kerry seems to have the nomination knocked. You'd think he'd be making powerful, insightful statements. Instead, what he was saying on the eve of these Super Tuesday primaries was that he won't be a "wishy-washy, mealy-mouthed" Democrat. His words.

So there we have it. A man who won't be wishy-washy, and one who knows if he doesn't win he's gonna lose.

I'm getting SO inspired!
