Vote. Or Don't.

Primary elections today in Texas, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Presidential candidates are set, so that's not a voter magnet.

In our part of Texas there's some interest in down-ballot races in the Democrat party— southside County Commission, District 28 US Representative, and the like. Bexar, Guadalupe and Comal counties' early voting drew more Democrats and fewer Republicans than last election.

Bexar uses our new touchscreen e-voting machines today. Black box voting systems across the country have had problems— dropped ballots, switched votes, voters denied machine access and so on.

One of the stories to watch for tonight and tomorrow is who won what. The other is how did the e-machines work.

Here's the part where I ought to urge you to vote. I'm not going to. If you have to be prompted, you're not interested enough anyway. Relax. Other people will take care of it for you.
