Bubble Bath Billy

Over in East Texas they're saying Billy Joe Wolfe tried to kill his "dearly beloved" wife in a bubble bath.

Teresa Wolfe says Billy came home, fixed her a bubble bath, put some candles around, and set the radio on a bench by the tub. The radio wouldn't reach a plug in the bathroom, so he ran an extension cord all the way into the next room.

Apparently the minute she got settled in the bubbles things happened fast. Billy made some awkward move and pretended to bump the radio into the bathtub— but somehow Teresa caught it before it hit the water.

She told the cops. Henderson police hauled Billy in for attempted murder. Turns out he had been on the internet looking up bathtub electrocution info.

If Billy goes to prison, his nickname should be Bubble Bath Billy. Not quite as bad as a boy named Sue, but close.
