Politicians Exempt From No-Call
To adapt a line from a lawyer joke, it isn't that all politicians are scum but 99 percent of 'em are giving the rest of the politicians a bad name.
Take the case of the National Do Not Call Registry. A lot of us thought that was one of the few decent things Congress did in the past few years. And most of it is. But there in the fine print, oh, a surprise! The politicians exempted themselves from being listed.
So now the political season looms, and the political parties are gearing up to bother all of us with their intrusive, unwanted sales-pitch calls. Robo calls by the millions, before it's all over.
And ain't nothing you can do about it, Bubba.
Because once again, the scummier politicians have written a rule to be followed by everyone except their own selfish selves.
And they wonder why so many of US are so disgusted with so many of THEM.
