Thanks for Nothing, Mexican Jerks

Here's my opinion about a few people in Mexico. I'm not angry at the whole country, understand. Just certain jerks.

Cpl. Juan Lopez Rangel

To the Lopez family, sincere thanks for his service to the United States. —Brad

I'm talking about the idiots who interrupted the solemn funeral of a United States Marine, Lance Corporal Juan Lopez, who was killed in an ambush in Iraq. His family wanted him buried in his family's homeland. The U.S. Marines sent an Honor Guard to Mexico for Cpl. Lopez's funeral.

Because foreign troops cannot legally bear arms in Mexico, our Marine Honor Guard's rifles were ceremonial fakes. Just like the fake rifles used in US Embassy-sponsored Marine ceremonies in Mexico City. At the funeral, the Mexicans couldn't tell the difference. Mexican Army troops interrupted the funeral, and ejected our Honor Guard and pallbearers. The funeral was completed without them.

Thanks for nothing, Mexican jerks. Someone should humbly apologize to Cpl. Lopez's family. Someone should apologize for the dishonor shown our U.S. Marines. The same someone should remember that the U.S. doesn't do diddly when we find armed Mexican Army troops on our side of the border out in the desert.

So, to the few involved, I emphasize: thanks a lot for nothing, Mexican jerks.
