Swifties 1, Kerry 0

The swift boat vet ads have shot up Kerry's presidential campaign. He hasn't done much shooting back.

While the swifties have a choke hold on Kerry, he has not manhandled them in return. His responses have been slow, weak and virtually totally ineffective.

Which led me to this question. If Kerry is slow and indecisive in counterattacking the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth, what makes anyone think he wouldn't be slow and indecisive handling the duties of president?

Blaming his advisors makes no sense: he's responsible for all his actions, including following bad advice. Now the Kerry campaign is getting a shakeup. Joe Lockhart and other Clinton team members have been brought in to try to salvage Kerry's run.

The polls are still about dead even, but what small momentum exists, is toward the president. Criticize certain Bush decisions all you want, but you have to admit he's neither slow nor indecisive.
